Marriott St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg, FL
Marriott St. Petersburg is a Level 1 public space concept developed with the design team at Studio 11, framed as an innovative waterside town meets modern refined luxury. The narrative draws on St. Pete's emerald water, white sand beaches and historic bungalows, balancing a relaxed resort mood with an aspirational city edge. Soft Florida tones of sage, teal and sand meet textured plaster, ceruse oak, natural stone and brilliant metal finishes. Organic forms and sculptural furniture carry guests from reception and a dynamic stair through the lobby, bar and restaurant. The goal is a place where guests hang out alongside the locals and settle into the neighborhood.
The scope covered the full Level 1 public space: reception, the dynamic stair, lobby, boardroom and business center, fitness center, elevator lobby, public restrooms, bar and bar lounge, restaurant, beer garden, M Club and private dining. At reception, a stone-faced registration desk framed in warm wood stands against a sculpted stucco backdrop with inset lighting, over travertine floors. The monumental stair pairs warm wood treads with light risers and a brushed brass and glass rail.
